And luckily just in time, because it’s World Maths Day today. Exciting huh? 🙂
I’m taking a break this afternoon from the garage and jobs around the house, to head into my daughters school for some maths activities with two of the kiddies.
If you have kids but have never spent time helping out in the classroom, you are missing out. It’s just a sea of friendly smiling faces looking up to you; they are absolutely rapt to see a dad as well, generally it is only mums that help out so there’s another perk if you are male…
I was in school last week as well, cooking up a storm for Pancake (Shrove) Tuesday. Great fun, and you get to meet the parents of the kids your own children will be friends with for the next 15 years.
So, go to school. Well worth it.
