So this beautiful work of art, is my entry for the Dainer Made #rubbishwood21 challenge!
It’s just a bit of silly fun rather than anything too serious.
So, Mark from DainerMade is challenging Makers to make something, anything, out of wood that would be be considered ‘rubbish’. I’m using hardwood dowel offcuts that were destined for the fire pit. Horrible, splintery, sap filled dowel offcuts as well. There’s a reason why they were in the bin. I wasn’t too sure as to what I would build, but then I realised that I’d be releasing this one very near to my birthday.
Happy Bday to me! 😉 🎉
I figured, as I’m getting older, it might be fun to try to recapture some of my youth! And back when I was a child, I used to love making my own toys, especially, kites. Now that I’m a grown man, it should be even easier to make one right?
Right?
🤣
